Community Urban Greening & Tree Restoration Initiative

GDGI’s urban greening work has planted more than 500 drought-resistant trees across communities identified as climate-vulnerable, restoring green cover while directly involving persons with disabilities in the planning and planting process.

The initiative reflects GDGI’s Environmental Stewardship focus area inclusive, community-based conservation that treats accessibility as a design requirement from the outset, not an afterthought.
