Visit to ECOWAS Commission, Abuja

On 10 April 2025, GDGI President Angelina Ugben led a delegation of GDGI’s partners ASTEVEN Group and WAANSA to the ECOWAS Commission Annex Office in Abuja to explore partnership opportunities.

Receiving the delegation, Dr. Alves D’Almada Fernando Jorge, Head of the Division of Social Affairs at the ECOWAS Commission, emphasized the need to integrate the disability community into policies that enhance green environment and promote sustainable agricultural techniques for food security in the sub-region, and pledged the Commission’s support for GDGI’s mission.
