National Validation Workshop: Nigeria's Just Transition Guidelines and Action Plan

On 6–7 October 2025, GDGI took part in the National Council on Climate Change Secretariat's validation workshop for Nigeria's Just Transition Guidelines and Action Plan (JT-GAP), held in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNIDO, and the UN Development Programme (UNDP).

GDGI contributed disability provisions to the JT-GAP during 2025, and the National Summit on Disability-Inclusive Climate Action (14–15 October 2026) will track implementation of those provisions and generate evidence for the framework's next review cycle.
