Pre-Launch Lecture: "Disability & Climate Change The Untapped Connection"

On 18 June 2025, GDGI held a Pre-Launch Lecture "Disability & Climate Change: The Untapped Connection" over Zoom, ahead of its official launch on 26 June 2025 at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The lecture featured Angelina Ugben, Founder & President of GDGI (Nigeria, host); Dr. Sefakor G.M.A. Komabu-Pomeyie, Founder of EEPD Africa (USA, lecturer); and Nogning Armelle A., Founder of CCCWGD (Cameroon, special guest) framing the gathering, in GDGI's own words, as "the dawn of a new era where persons with disabilities lead climate action."
