Job Summary

The Communications Assistant will drive GDGI’s storytelling through social media, digital campaigns, newsletters, and visual content that highlight our impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for social media and website.

  • Cover events and produce human-interest stories.

  • Assist with graphics, short videos, and advocacy campaigns.

  • Manage community engagement across platforms.

  • Support media outreach and press releases.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Communications, Journalism, Graphics/Media, or related field.

  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.

  • Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe tools).

  • Strong writing and storytelling ability.
